The first one is movement, where the eye moves from the closer person, to the further person, to the fish, to the trees in the water, to the river, and finally to the background trees. The second principal of design shown is repetition. The river has a repetition of waves and ripples that repeat throughout the water. The small waves also show rhythm, in the way they rise and fall and add a musical element to the photo.
